How to join Webex Events (TV Conference Systems)

Join a meeting with a video conferencing system

  1. Call 210.4.202.4 from the video conferencing system
  2. An announcement will prompt you to enter the meeting number. Enter the meeting number sent from the host and press ”#” at the end.
  3. If a panelist password is set for the event, an announcement will ask you to enter the password. Enter the password sent by the organizer and press ”#” at the end.
    • If the event has not started yet, you will be automatically disconnected.

Functions

  • The functions are more limited than when using a browser, desktop application, or tablet / smartphone application.

Contents sharing

  • When you start contents sharing from the video conference system, the contents are also shared with hosts & participants from Webex Training.
  • When content are shared from the host & participants on Webex, the contents are also shared with the host & participants from the video conference system.

Mute / Unmute Settings

  • In addition to the mute setting of the video conference system (whether to send audio from the video conference system to Webex), it is possible to mute the video conference system from the Webex side.
  • When the host presses “Mute all”, Webex will mute the video conferencing system.
  • To set / cancel this mute from the video conference system, enter ”* 6” with the dial pad.
